A team of 100 students and teachers from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Niangbari, Ri-Bhoi district and KV, Khanapara visited IFS Demonstration site of KVK, Ri-Bhoi on 26th Nov,2024 under NICRA Project in Liarkhla and Thadnongiaw village. The team was coordinated by Dr. Meghna Sarma alongwith NICRA, SRFs and Programme assistant from FPO. The students were briefed about the different IFS models implemented in farmers field which is a viable option to produce diverse food in large quantities from a unit area for food security and livelihood. Also they were also exposed to different units of IFS like fishery,piggery, poultry, goatery, duckery units crop enterprise, etc of IFS sites in three sites of Farmers field.
